Poster 15ft by 3 ft
Created an original poster with
pictures from the past recent months. Includes a collage
of friends, a picture from a concert & size 1915 font.
Utilized included prints from school and created a
poster consisting of 85 pages.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade & Windows 7
Adding an additional hard drive to
the mandatory school issued Lenovo T500 laptop by
removing the optical drive from the "Ultra Bay II" and
adding a Hard Drive Caddy purchased from eBay for $20
USD with shipping included. [Update November 2009 - Dual
boot Windows 7]

Jailbreak iPod Touch
Modifying the firmware on the Apple
iPod Touch to allow more customization of icons,
wallpaper, themes, and much more. Also opening up more
options for Apps with third-party and community
developers.

Softmodding an XBOX without having to buy a game or
modchip.
Requirements: Computer w/o SATA, CD-Rom Drive, CD Burner
Turned the XBOX into a Media Centre using XBMC.

SWC Information Display
A web based Information Kiosk for the school's LCD
display.
Presents the date, time, weather and announcement
information as well as important messages, pictures,
slideshows. All of which can be modified remotely from
any computer in the school network.

HUMR Tutorial Introduction
An introduction video for a University level tutorial
presentation.
Features motion tracking, sound effects, gun fire, and
blood spatter effects, multiple layer transparencies,
and After Effects titles with 3D movements.

An online video player for out of school viewing of
daily announcements, videos made by the Communications
Technology class, or videos of class or school related
events. E.g. Battle of the Bands, Staff Student

Tow Hook/Vehicle Camera
Mount
A tow hook designed in AutoCAD and cut with a CNC
machine with density plastic. Attachments can be made to
secure a video camera to a moving car for desired camera
angles.

VEX and Acrylic Mechanical
Lift Bridge
A bridge designed in Autodesk Inventor 2009 with VEX
components. Acrylic components also designed in Autodesk
Inventor were plotted to be cut with the CNC machine.
This was a high school level culminating activity.

Footwell Lighting
Cold cathode lighting from Xoxide used to light up the
front footwells and rear floor of an Acura Integra and
Acura EL. A sound module also used to have music flash
to the beat of the music.

Tinted Headlights
&Taillights - Dark
look
Using window tint to make the headlights appear dark
when the headlights are off. The headlights were
designed to reflect the surrounding area as its domain
colour so with the lights off they appear black. Black
was used as the cars main colour scheme. Tinted tails,
headlights, black housing corner lights and a black
interior.

Retrofitting High
Intensity Discharge (HID)
lights into projector lenses of an Acura
Integra. (Caution: Only do this to headlight lens
manufactured for HID lighting.. E.G. size D2S, D2R, D2T
headlights)
Using an HID kit from VVML and custom wiring a relay
into the lighting system.
